The Woods

The dog leads me into the forest. As we get deeper in the darker and colder it becomes. I look around, I am losing all direction. The animal knows where we are going so I have no need to worry. After going forever it seems, we stop. The creature howls and suddenly I am surrounded by wolves. The center one is bigger, stronger, and more beautiful then the rest. I’m afraid. I start running. Trees become blurry. My heart is beating, they are right on my heels. I stumble and fall and he is on me growling and standing over me. Suddenly they all stop. I hear a noise. There is goes again. It is a lamb. The wolves don’t hesitate. They are off of me and on the lamb. Now I am frightened and saddened, but I see a light. I don’t look behind and run for the light. I break out of the forest into a desert. There is nothing but light and hills upon hills of sand. A lion stands before me. It licks my face and picks me up. It takes me to a paradise with beauty all around. I can’t even stand, the sight is so awesome. I fall to my knees because I am not even worthy. I hear a voice that says "You are forgiven". "Why?" I ask myself. Its for the sake of My Love unto you.
